Rory went to church on Sunday morning by himself and had his own row to himself, until about 1/3 into the sermon, when he saw on the other side of the row was a woman, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. He couldn't help but keep looking at her and then saw her peeking over at him. So at the end of the sermon Rory walked right up to Kim and introduced himself. The two exchanged numbers and went on a date, which turned into a full relationship when Rory asked Kim to be his girlfriend on New Years Day! They had a strong, healthy relationship, but everything changed when Rory found out in September 2023 that he had Cancer. The Cancer was in his Brain, Lungs, Liver, Abdomen, and Testicle, all at the same time. He immediately started treatment and it looked bleak, but Kim knew deep down that he was going to find a way to beat the cancer. After four months of treatment, it looked as if the cancer was in remission and the two grew even closer. In April 2024, Rory proposed and Kim said yes. However they were tested once again when Rory's cancer came back on June 2024 and put him in a coma. The entire time Rory was unconscious and holding on for dear life, Kim stayed next to his bedside the entire time until he woke up again. After he woke up he had more treatment and beat the cancer for real this time. Now they are much more in love than ever and are excited to live a long, happy life together on this planet. They credit their relationship to God and each other for Rory's triumph over the disease, and Rory always says that Kim is a big reason why he was able to win the war.
